Traditional metal window restoration services
About our company
Tec Glass as a company has a number of business areas including Aluminium Windows and Doors, Secondary Glazing, Timber Windows and Doors and of course uPVC. Our main website can be found at www.tecglass.co.uk
This website is dedicated to our traditional leaded windows and restoration business. We often find however that clients who engage with us typically have other glazing requirements and that can vary from a glass table top to a bi-folding door or even glass roof. Check out our product page for the range of goods and services we can provide.
Our workshop and offices are in Thame, Oxfordshire which is a busy and thriving market town, well known in the farming community. Which is quite relevant as Tec Glass are located in the “Old Wool Store” in the yard of H&C Pearce, who historically were a renowned “stapler” or grader of wool in the area. It is a fitting location and building for a window restoration business that is for sure.
We offer our services to both residential and commercial customers. We work with many local businesses who support our traditional craft as well as in partnership. Our goal is to grow the company organically and efficiently with a key strategy of supporting local trade and employment together with protecting our heritage rather than trying to push new products where they are not needed.
We hope you approve of our goals and the projects we undertake, and of course welcome the opportunity to discuss your window or glazing needs in the near future.
Primary Areas we work in
It’s a frequent question we are asked, where do we work? That usually depends on the size of contract but we primarily work in the South East and west of London. Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Northants and Hampshire are key.
Customer Project News
We are seeing greater interest in restoration and repair due to the ongoing austerity issues in the economy. This has lead to more interest in timber and sash repairs as well as traditional leaded lights. See some of our completed projects here.
As a growing company we are always open to consider trades people looking for a new challenge. Please get in contact if you fancy an initial chat. We will probably be searching for another Workshop apprentice shortly and part-time book keeper.
We offer independent advice based on many years of experience and take immense pride in offering high quality solutions that are tailored to each situation and particular need.
